Gilhart Field/Williams Stadium

Williams Stadium, which features both Townsend Field and Beckett Track, is the home of Fightin' Quaker football, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's lacrosse, men's track & field and women's track & field programs. During the fall season, the cheerleading squad also cheers in the stadium.

Townsend Field received a face lift in the form of brand new turf in the summer of 2020. The turf is a 24-7 slim film system installed by The Motz Group out of Cincinnati. A Schmitz Proplay 20 shock attenuation underlayment pad below the turf aids in the reduction of concussions. New goal posts and an end zone stop safety net are also brand new.

Alongside hosting several NAIA Playoff games in the 1980s under Head Coach Bill Ramseyer, Williams Stadium has also been utilitized in the professional ranks. From 1968-96, the Cincinnati Bengals hosted their training camp at Wilmington College. Townsend Field was featured heavily during those weeks the Bengals were on campus.
